The office will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Wednesday, November 22 - Sunday, November 26.

For the Christmas holidays, the office will be closed from Monday, December 18 - Monday, January 1st.

Final Christmas Card Session

Nov. 18 was the cutoff to have a session in order to get Christmas cards. However, I'm still taking appointments for regular sessions for family, children, high school seniors, etc.

and the younger two were so sweet. One of
the awesome things about my job is that I
get to meet so many great people! And I get
to play with so many fun kids and learn so
much from all of their unique personalities.
Have I mentioned that I love what I do?!

Recapture the Wonder

Today our pastor spoke about Recaputring the Wonder. As a child photographer, I see it all the time - kids fascinated by the little things of life. Bubbles, a leaf, a rock, a bug etc. As adults, life becomes busy and the little things become meaningless. I urge you to slow down, and take a look at the same old things through the eyes of a child. Become filled with wonder again.

• The wonder of salvation - having a personal relationship with the Creator of the World!
• The wonder of His creation - "When I consider Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that you are mindful of him..." - Ps. 8:3. Watch a sunset, look at the beautiful fall foliage, pick a flower.
• The wonder of your uniqueness - The Psalms says we are wonderfully made! God knew us even before we were born and has great plans for us! He even knows how many hairs are on your head! Our bodies are amazing the way it all functions!
• The wonder of your assignment - Your purpose in life
• The wonder of prayer - God can hear us all pray at the same time! What a miracle! It's so simple a child can do it, yet so powerful, it can move mountains!
• The wonder of Jesus - all knowing, all powerful, all loving, everywhere at once!

Thanks to the wonderful ladies at Northwest Bible Church for inviting me to speak to the Mother's of Preschoolers Group about taking better photos of your children.
